What do I do for my passport?

So i'm 16 and my passport expired already. I think your supposed to get a different one when u turn 16 anyways? and i know things are different for renewing as a kid. What steps do I have to take? I also need it expedited because I might be going to turks and caicos in a month. HELP!!
